Clinical training in gender, sexuality, men's mental health, and the inner lives of contemporary men.
I deliver training, masterclasses, and CPD for therapists, supervisors, and organisations working at the edges of identity, relationship, and contemporary masculinity.
My work draws on fifteen years of clinical practice, group facilitation, and academic research, including ongoing doctoral studies. The trainings combine clinical depth, theoretical rigour, and the kind of practical, real-world frameworks that hold up in the room with a client on a Tuesday afternoon.
Areas of Specialism
Gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity (GSRD) — including kink, non-monogamy, and queer relational practice
Adolescent male mental health — the inner worlds of contemporary boys, anger, withdrawal, and the question of what they actually need
The manosphere and online radicalisation — what's happening, what it means clinically, and how to work with the men shaped by it
Shame, identity, and relational work — particularly with men, queer clients, and those at intersecting margins
Therapy with men — beyond the stereotypes, into the work
Outdoor and eco-based therapeutic practice — the body, the land, and the therapeutic encounter
Training sessions are available as full days, half days, evening sessions, and short keynote formats. I work with private groups, training institutes, organisations, and CPD providers across Ireland, the UK, and internationally.
Private Practice Clarity Session
For therapists building or rebuilding their private practice.
A focused one-to-one session for therapists who are setting up in private practice, returning to it after a break, or sensing that the practice they have isn't quite the one they want.
We look at what's actually working, what's draining you, where the money is and isn't coming from, and what a sustainable, professionally honest version of your practice could look like.
This is not a coaching session. It is a clinical-supervisory conversation grounded in the realities of building a therapy practice — fees, hours, niching, ethical positioning, and the quiet decisions that shape the shape of a working life.
